How we rate
The full methodWhat we read
The ingredient list, analysis and additives printed on the pack. We take them from the retailer’s page and, where the maker publishes one, check them against the maker’s own. Each food page says where its label came from.
What the score ignores
Price, commission, the retailer and how popular a food is. Brands can’t pay to be listed or ranked. If we earn commission when you buy, it changes nothing we show.
When we get it wrong
Recipes change and labels get misread. Every food page has a report link, and we check each report against the pack. Report a mistake
